This diamond-shaped enamel pin has the words "je parle français" (meaning "I speak French") in the bleu, blanc, and rouge (blue, white and red) of the French flag. The design was inspired by the blue stamp on the bottom of white ceramic, as well as thinking of French lavender fields, fresh air, and clean white linen drying in the sun. 
 
The pin measures 1.75 inches across, and 1 inch high. It affixes with two pins, which will come with either metal butterfly or rubber clasps. It is available in a silver or gold finish. 
 
I love languages, and I love how they help us connect with each other. I designed this pin with that purpose in mind, especially thinking of individuals like servers, nurses, flight crew, and others who are constantly meeting and talking to new people from a huge variety of backgrounds. The pin is a great way to show the people you meet that you speak their language--and that you want to connect. 
 
Of course, this little pin doesn't have to serve that purpose. It's a great gift for a teacher or student of French. It's also a great way to show your pride in your interests, your languages, your heritage, your culture, or however else the French language is a part of you.
