This enamel pin reads "yo hablo español" (I speak Spanish). The text is in a deep red color set against a pale background, surrounded by a green prickly pear cactus growing on an island in the middle of a pale blue lake, with a small bird hovering at the top of the pin. The pin's design is based on the Mexican flag and the Aztec legend that describes an eagle perched on a cactus eating a snake as the sign from the gods for where the Aztecs should build their city.
The enamel pin measures 1.25" x 1.25". It attaches with two pins (so it doesn't twist and turn when affixed) with metal butterfly clasps, and comes with a silver metal finish.
I love languages, and I love how they help us connect with each other. That's what my small business is based on. I designed this pin with that purpose in mind, especially thinking of people who are constantly meeting and talking to patients, customers, or clients all day long. This pin is a signal to individuals who use Spanish that you speak their language, and that you want to connect.
Every pin I make is my own, original design that is manufactured with the help of a production partner. I inspect every pin myself so you can know the one you'll receive is beautiful and high-quality.
UGLY PACKAGING
I ship my enamel pins securely in minimal packaging that incorporates reused materials. The packaging isn't beautiful, but I promise that the pin is!
